Pottery classes to suit everyone
Try your hand at throwing on the wheel, hand modelling and other techniques
Classes take place in my small pottery studio in Bamford where I even have an outside kick wheel for throwing pots in the sunshine (when the weather is right!). I teach a wide range of classes to suit people of all ages, abilities and walks of life - from toddlers to octogenarians. I offer creative, fun and unique lessons on a one-to-one or small group basis. I am passionate about sharing my love of creating pottery with others and have decades of experience in teaching pottery as a creative therapy, as a fun group activity or as a way of expressing yourself.

I provide lessons from beginners, through intermediate to advanced levels in hand-building, sculpture and wheel work. I am always flexible and can design a class or workshop to suit your needs. More information about my classes can be found below.

Everyone who comes to my studio is an individual, so I tailor workshops to suit each person's interests and experiences.

Workshops can include throwing on the wheel, hand building with slabs or coils, modelling and sculpture, as well as using colours, slips and glazes.

Getting creative with friends or family can be a really fun experience, allowing you to support and encourage each other in what you create. It makes for a memorable day out.
I can accommodate up to 6 people per workshop.
